This event is organised by Insurance Law Association, Singapore (ILAS). The talk by Stephen Moriarty QC of Fountain Court Chambers, UK, will review the current state of English law on fraudulent claims made by insured on insurance policies, including the consequences which follow from a fraudulent claim being advanced, and what counts as a fraudulent claim for the purpose of attracting those consequences. The talk will also discuss some very important recent developments in the UK.
