Event Outline

This seminar discusses 2017’s “English Shipping Law” update, published in the International Maritime & Commercial Law Yearbook. Cases will include three shipping judgments handed down by the Supreme Court of the United Kingdom covering general average, damages following early redelivery by a time charterer, and safe ports (The Longchamp; The New Flamenco; and The Ocean Victory), and two collision cases, one in England (The Alexandra 1 and Ever Smart) and one in Singapore (The Dream Star).
