Event Outline

Maritime and general commercial arbitration exist within the same legal framework but there are specialised rules customised for maritime arbitration. We will explore the changes brought about by the LMAA Rules 2017. The panelists will draw comparisons between ad hoc maritime arbitrations and those conducted under the LMAA, SCMA and SIAC Rules. There will be discussions on whether there is a set of unspoken rules, or culture, that sets maritime arbitration apart from commercial arbitration.
