It has been almost a year since the Mediation Act 2017 came into operation. This statute provides an expedited enforcement mechanism to record mediated settlement agreements as court orders. Concurrent international developments have also taken place to strengthen the enforceability regime for mediated settlements. This seminar will review the key aspects of these recent developments.
