Event Outline

The UNCITRAL announced in July that its newest convention would be titled the Singapore Convention on Mediation. The Convention is designed to ensure the enforcement of international mediated settlement agreements by national courts of ratifying countries. This lecture will provide first-hand insight into the influential role that Singapore played in the new Convention’s origins within UNCITRAL Working Group II, the content of the Convention itself and impact of its implementation.
