The impact of online social media on the legal profession is an issue that requires attention. The legal profession has been under pressure due to the growth of online social media, but no clear visible lines seem to be clarifying the legal issues as yet.
This module equips legal professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the online world of social media in a manner that is consistent with legal professional ethics, and concerns over privacy, confidentiality and ethics.
