This event is organized by Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA). This is a colloquium on the Energy Charter Treaty with the theme, “The Promise of Arbitration: Enhancing International Peace, Cooperation and Sustainability through Dispute Settlement.” Topics will include the Energy Charter Secretariat 2018 Model Instrument on Management of Investment Disputes; treaty and contract based arbitration concerning Asian infrastructure investments; settlement of energy and natural resource disputes between States; and ways of enhancing stakeholder participation in these fields.
