This event is organised by Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals (SIATP). In 2019, the IRAS adopted a new sentencing framework in its sentencing submissions for at least two income tax cases. Join in this session by Mr Yang Shi Yong, Director and Mr Charles Li, Associate Director from Tax & Private Client Services, Drew & Napier LLP and look into the prosecution stages of recent criminal tax cases. Better understand how the new position taken by the IRAS and the State Courts may have been influenced by recent Supreme Court decisions.
