The importance of proper pleadings is best, considered in consideration of consequences of poor pleadings. Proper pleadings must not only comply with the rules but utilise the opportunity to show the reader that counsel possesses a mastery of the facts and law that will develop in the case. This session will guide participants on how to structure and prioritise facts necessary in a case, and also offer guidance on being succinct yet useful.
