This event is organised by the Insurance Law Association, Singapore. The talk will address (1) the meaning of “Claim” and the number of Claims made, including consideration of West Wake, Haydon v Lo & Lo and Thorman; (2) general principles of interpretation of claims aggregation clauses, including “event”, “occurrence” and “originating cause” wording; (3) aggregation of claims against solicitors, including the Minimum Terms and Conditions, LloydsTSB, Godiva, AIG; (4) aggregation of claims against surveyors and other professionals, including the RICS wording.
