Event Outline

The Community Court has now been in existence for over 10 years since June 2006. It has been adopting a problem-solving approach that combines criminal justice and community resources for a comprehensive and holistic response to criminal offending. With the introduction of community based sentencing options provided in the CPC 2010, the Community Court now also imposes graduated sentencing options for minor offences.
