Event Outline

In recent years, cases have pointed towards a rising trend of convergence between International trade and investment arbitration. This is mostly a consequence of the increasing attempts by free trade agreements and bilateral investment treaties to focus on trade liberalization and investment protection simultaneously. This seminar will explore some of the issues that arise as a result of this emerging trend and its implications for International trade and investment arbitration laws.
