In this presentation, using his experience as a District Court Judge, Professor Chew will share with us the objective and the mechanics of ‘witness conferencing’, particularly from the perspective of such a process being applied by a court. In so doing, Prof Chew will attempt to demonstrate that ‘witness conferencing’ or ‘concurrent evidence’ is a useful means to effective hearings where complicated and technical evidence is involved, both in court and in arbitration hearings.
