The presentation will review the steps that have been taken to regulate crypto-currencies in various jurisdictions throughout the world, categorise them according to the degree of receptiveness to digital currencies, and attempt to lay down certain recommendations for financial and monetary authorities responsible for maintaining order in financial markets. The review will cover both the currencies themselves and the activities undertaken by those whose seek to issue and use them.
