Event Outline

Crypto-assets are a type of private asset that depend on cryptography and distributed ledger technology. Examples of crypto-assets range from cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, to coins issued through Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). Crypto-assets raise specific challenges for regulators and market participants due to lack of clarity in the regulatory framework. This session will provide a brief intro on the basics and cover international tax and legal aspects of ICOs.
