This event will explore the intersection between arbitration and mediation as dispute resolution tools for the same dispute. Topics to be addressed will include (i) what more can be done to encourage arbitrating parties to consider exploring a mediated settlement of their dispute; and (ii) what happens when arbitrators become mediators in the same dispute.
