This event is co-organized by Justice Without Borders, Herbert Smith Freehills LLP (Singapore) and Prolegis LLC. this event follows a 2018 workshop which covered legal developments from SGCA cases on illegality and considered their relevance to the issue of illegal deployment of migrant workers in Singapore. This 2022 session will cover the legal avenues available to illegally-deployed migrant domestic workers, with an emphasis on the causes of action available in contract and in restitution.
