Event Outline

This event is organised by the SCMA and London Shipping Law Centre. The seminar centres around the illegal invasion of Ukraine by Russia. In particular, the panel of speakers will discuss the impact of sanctions on shipping and insurance law, force majeure and exception clauses in charter parties involving Ukrainian ports, and the decision of MUR Shipping BV v RTI Ltd where sanctions prevented payment.
