This event is organized by Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA). The Singapore Convention has shifted the alternate dispute resolution (“ADR”) landscape dominated by arbitration. Every country that joins as a signatory, increases the viability of mediation; international settlement agreements become more readily enforceable. While welcomed, ADR extends beyond mediation and arbitration. The diverse speakers assembled by the SCMA will provide guidance on selecting the best mechanism from the suite of options for maritime and international trade disputes.
