This event is organised by NUS Centre for International Law. This webinar examines the right to peace as a human right recognised in international, regional, and domestic legal frameworks. Despite this recognition, uncertainty remains regarding its legal status, content, and implementation. Against the backdrop of ongoing armed conflicts worldwide, participants will explore the development of the right, contemporary legal approaches, its role in strengthening the international legal order, and ways to advance it as an enforceable legal entitlement.
