This webinar is organised by NUS - Centre for International Law. This lecture will examine the Paris Agreement Implementation and Compliance Committee (PAICC), established under Article 15 of the Paris Agreement. It will explore the similarities and differences between the PAICC and compliance mechanisms under earlier multilateral environmental agreements. The lecture will also assess the PAICC’s contributions to global climate change efforts since the Paris Agreement entered into force.
