Event Outline

This event is organise by NUS - Centre for International Law. Professor Kaddous will examine how the EU AI Act is reshaping AI regulation within and beyond the EU, including its scope, risk-based duties, enforcement and interaction with fundamental rights and data protection. The lecture will explore cross-border jurisdiction, state responsibility, economic law and global standards, as well as implications for Switzerland. It will conclude with the Geneva AI Summit 2027’s potential role in advancing global cooperation on responsible AI governance.
